A music lover ever since, MORIOUN from Germany started as a Goa-Trance DJ in 2015 after hearing classic acid drenched goa trance from the likes of Hallucinogen, Green Nuns Of The Revolution, and Astral Projection ... With a background as a drummer, and singer in a "Psy Rock" band, he finally got on creating his own Goa tracks in 2019, which escalated into playing Live! With hands on the hardware, he developed a mixtures of dark atmospheres, analoge madness and blissful but twilightish melodies with a strong focus on psychedelic soundscapes and storytelling. He works a lot on improving his studio and workflow while building and putting a stamp on his tunes. He's released various tracks over the last three years on respected record-labels like Schlabbaduerst ReKkords, Chronicle of Mystery Records, 303-Break-Street, as well as a 3 track EP and one full length Album on DharmaR Records. Furthermore he is one of the label managers of Kandiszucker rec. It is now an honour for him to be released on the notorious K.E.R. with a concept based EP that discovers the borders of sanity, reflecting on society and the shadows of humanity where he adresses rather dark and cruel aspects of the madness of the psyche and it's pop-culture transforming into a psychedelic twistedness adressing topics such as the cult around charles manson, which was a notable part of the fall of the 60s hippie movement that still carries on into the trance scene even today... You will also hear about ghosts creeping through the corridors of the nighttime office, and jeffrey dahmer and the recapitulation of his past crimes and compulsion, a rather dark and intensive journey exploring the different rises and fall in the shapes of mind and insanity. Working here with these sensitive topics, Morioun's goal is to heal and grow through mindmelting music and evaluate into the deeply needed sunrise, ending the journey in an euphoric climax! This killer 4 track Digital e.p. by Morioun is published worldwide on all usual platforms, with Vinyl and CDr available through Kali Earth Records directly! The music of the EP as a whole was created around the end of 2022 and can be seen as a prequel to his second full studio album „Eulenspiegel“ being released soon after this, '7 States Of Madness'.
